Biography

Dr. Raymond Raven is an Orthopaedic Specialist with subspecialty training in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery. He is distinguished as one of few surgeons who is triple Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Surgery of the Hand and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. 

Dr. Raven has cared for thousands of patients with fractures, sports related injuries, and arthritis and has extensive experience treating upper extremity conditions affecting performance artists. Dr. Raven’s clinical interests include the management of upper extremity trauma and reconstruction of the hand, wrist, and elbow. 

Dr. Raven is the CEO and Managing Partner of the OSS Health Network in Burbank, CA, a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center for musculoskeletal conditions. He has the privilege and challenge of overseeing the quality of health care delivery for more than 60,000 patient-encounters each year in the group’s clinic, rehabilitation center and ambulatory surgical centers. Dr. Raven is deeply involved with patient advocacy and holds leadership positions in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and sits on the Board of Directors for the California Orthopedic Association. Dr. Raven enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, and martial arts.
