At the start of his health career, Mr. Duenes completed a competitive Physician Assistant elective orthopaedic residency program so that he could learn sound clinical skills in a medical office, emergency room and operating room. He reflects, “The residency not only gave me a good understanding of the profession but prepared me … It was the best decision I ever made.”

His advice to patients before and after surgery is this: “For your recovery, set short term and longer term goals to track your progress. Be engaged – do the instructed exercises and use the techniques we give you to manage the short-term pain.” His favorite hobby is to be active. He starts every workday at the gym (5 am).

This provider sees patients in Burbank (Main Office, Pacfic Ave & Hollywood Way).
