As a therapist, Dr. Nakamura believes in working collaboratively with her patient to produce a plan to help reduce their pain and return them to their goals. Dr. Nakamura utilizes mostly exercise therapy with her patients and enjoys getting to know each individual to build a therapeutic alliance with them.

Dr. Nakamura has experience working with athletes, weekend warriors, and veterans, and has previous experience working with people with Parkinson’s disease, balance and falls deficits as well as some experience in wound care. She particularly enjoys working with seniors.

In her spare time, Dr. Nakamura enjoys weightlifting, playing basketball, reading, and exploring different boba shops in Los Angeles.
